Developing a Plan

Thanks to the internet I manage to keep up to date with what's going on in the world outside of my own garden.  While I might not be able to tell you much about the state of affairs of the Euro I certainly try to keep abreast of our local community news.  I read online press and ezines and I troll social media sites almost daily.  It was thanks to a friend on facebook that I found out the latest news.

But 'news' is only as reliable as its source.  The topic of great debate on Stuff.co.nz tonight was found under the headline

Suburban rebuild plans delayed

Plans for the rebuild of quake-hit shops in Edgeware and New Brighton have been delayed after Christchurch City councillors questioned the effectiveness of the council's master planning scheme.

Do we need to read between the lines? Or do we need to act ourselves...
Everywhere I go in our village I am constantly engaging in conversations that circle around our community's recovery; people are concerned.  We all remember Brighton in its heyday, and wish that the future could really be brighter.
